In the winter of 1999, my macquette of an upsidedown figure was selected to be included in the prestigious Pier Walk outdoor sculpture exhibition. The macquette represented a piece to be realized at 12 feet tall and weigh 22,000 pounds. It ended up costing over $10,000 to produce and install on Chicago's Navy Pier. It was an amazing process.
